ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT PLANS - ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL

We have successfully assisted a number of Mines in the drafting and implementation of Engineering Management Plan documents and Life Cycle Management Processes.

The formation of the Engineering Management Plan includes the following key steps:

  1. Core Risk Assessment – Undertake a Risk Assessment to assess the core risks and hazards associated with Mine Plant and existing control measures

  2. Draft the Engineering Management document (Electrical EEMP or Mechanical MEMP) based on the Standard KES Framework and key control measures

  3. Undertake a review of the existing Mine standard s, processes and procedures and determine whether they satisfy all the requirements of the CMHS / OHS regulations and identify hazards. This includes a compliance check to the plan

  4. Draft an implementation plan for the introduction of the EEMP or MEMP

  5. Setup the Framework and Document Control on the Mine Network

  6. Draft the Life Cycle Management document and establish on the Network.

  7. Draft and implement a Functional Safety Management Plan including the assessment of Legacy Plant.
